30x30 challenge

I'm officially giving up clothes shopping !!! It's only for a month tho so don't panic...for the next month i will not buy one single item of clothing.  i am doing this because i have way too many things in my closet that i don't even touch. My boyfriend gets mad cuz i don't wear half the stuff i own... men.... who understands them??. First they get mad cuz we shop, then they get mad when we wear sweats around he house, then they want us to just magically look like super models all the time... ugh too many unreasonable request ... well i do what i want anyway boi ... enough venting ...

This ban will help me save my money for the holidays so.. kudos for that. On the other hand, to make this whole ban a lil more of a challenge and also to prove to myself that i don't really need to be doing any shopping in the first place, i will be doing kendi's challenge 30 by 30. For those of you that don't know, or are too lazy to click on the link provided and find out for yourself...i will briefly  explain ...
In 30 by 30 you have to pick 30 items of clothing from your existing closet (don't cheat by going shopping the day before you start the challenge little sneaky) and you have to work with that to make your outfits for the next month so that means lots of mix and matching ... some things don't count as items, thank god !!! for example accessories, jewelry , hats, underwear, coats are all not included in your 30

I am aware that this can be a potential mental trap for myself because if i fail at creating these outfits one; i will look like a fool and thus my brain will go into a  mental breakdown, in effect that will signal my entire being to just shop shop shop until my closet is full to the top. On the other hand if i successfully complete this challenge (by successfully i mean i manage to not look like a clown and ppl dont catch on that I'm wearing the same thing day by day) i will be able to piece together my clothes more creatively all while saving myself some money.

alright enough talking lets get to it .Here are the pieces i chose...

shirts: Cargo silk button up , red quarter sleeve long shirt, coral ruffle top, black fitted turtle neck, grey turtle neck, stripped blue quarter sleeve top, loose peoples liberation chiffon top,

jackets: gray quarter sleeve jacket, camel sweater wrap, white sports jacket, grey ruffle ribbon crop cardigan,

pants: AE skinny jeans, grey boot cut slacks, black jeggins, cargo skinny,

skirts: gray pencil skirt, textured black n white tulip skirt, purple fold skirt

dresses: Red strapless tulip dress, black empire waist

shoes: red Jessica Simpson peep toe heels, black snake design black pumps, pink pearl accessory flats, black bow boots, brown equestrian calf boot.
