My boyfriend (sweetest man alive) surprised me the other day with a trip to Sprinkles! i have been dying to go check out this little bakery. I've heard so many great and delicious stories of cupcake heaven. So let me tell you more ... everyday they have special flavors so the trick is to get there early so your fist pick is still available we went on a Wednesday so the my pick was spicy caramel and he had the red velvet (i think). okay so in the photo you can see that lil braid thing i did with my hair! i swear i have been trying to style my hair like this for months but i could never get the braid just right ! i finally nailed it woohoo

My friend and i went to the coolest little hole in the wall restaurant the other night
Los Reyes de la Torta... if the name alone doesn't convince you maybe the fact that they were featured on the show Man vs Food will do the trick.

i could only eat half of mine and he couldn't finish his either so food definitely won

that i love how lightweight and summery it makes me feel....
that these shoes have nothing to do with pink but i thought gold and yellow are kinda in the same family so i thought i'd pair them together
also that these pants rock my world because they are bell bottoms and I'm falling in love with calf freedom
but its Friday morning and I'm a lil lot tired ...

21!!!

Its my birthday today !
My family woke me up for with presents and then we decided to head out to ihop for pancakes.

Later on in the day we met up at the Cheesecake Factory for my birthday dinner.
Holly, Gabby n her hubby came with to celebrate me turning 21 and finally being able to order my own drink lol. i ordered the pomegranate margarita. It was delicious, i had 2 feeling a lil rebellious. We had a great time thank you guys for a wonderful night and celebrating with me on my big day

MJ outfit and Breakfast for lunch

My sissy made this delicious Dutch Baby yesterday... whats a dutch baby you ask?? click here to get an answer and tutorial . anyway so i came over to her casa to make one myself for lunch.

I decided that mine should be peaches and cream instead of berries

Oom nom nom!!!!! So delicious, trust me!! you have to make one . they are super easy and if i can make one all by myself and not burn it then it must be a piece of cake right ...

And of course while we ate them we watched another one of  Marylin Monroe movies. We are totally obsessed with her. Isn't this dress gorgeous?? i told my sister i want one like this for my wedding except not blue haha .They use to make way cooler dresses back then what happened to people they just got lazy??

 My boyfriend was being such a big Meany today he made fun of my outfit cuz he said it looks like something Michael Jackson would wear... well you know what i like Michael and my outfit too ! so go kick rocks ! jk love u babe .

chicken n waffles love at first bite

OK so i admit it i have been slacking again on my blog but this time its not my fault completely I'm waiting on my friend to send me some pictures from her baby shower and ill post the last blog but shes having some difficulties so in the mean time let me fill you in on what i have been up to.

On Monday my boyfriend and I will decided to head out to Lolo's Chicken and Waffles . I have been telling him for weeks that he has to try it. I finally got him to go with me. So we get there and he's looking around i know he thinks that it might not be good. Inside I'm smirking like u will see . I order my meal and he his. I had to add my grits on the side mmmm yummy .  Ever since last time i went to Lolo's all i could thing about was those yummy grits with the brown sugar and the butter scoop. I know its not good for ur health but damm good for our soul and the taste buds aren't complaining either ...when the food arrived he took a bite and his eyes lid up. He looked at me greasy fingered licking his lips while he chewed on his chicken piece and he said to me  "this is like my gran ma used to make" Mission accomplished ! he is in love !

He loved it so much that the next day he went again for lunch. Something funny about my boyfriend, if he tries something new and likes it will eat if for a week. Hes so silly. Same thing happened when he first tried Chipotle. He wanted to eat it everyday but i put a stop to day real quick if i eat something so much i get sick of it and i didn't want that.
